The BlackNSA Awards honor the voices among us who do more than take the stage—they build community, lift others, and lead with purpose. Named after five iconic figures in our speaking family, each award highlights a unique quality: vision, resilience, motivation, leadership, and the bold spirit of a trailblazer. These awards are our way of saying thank you to the members who show up, stand out, and light the way forward for others.

Thelma Wells Trailblazer Award

The Thelma Wells Trailblazer award recognizes a BlackNSA member who has dedicated significant time, effort and resources to building the BlackNSA community. This honoree has not only built a speaking business but has taken on leadership roles, participated in building the organization and continues to shine a light on others who are growing their message as well as their business.
